For TWO of the challenge things i'm doing. And haha I suck at titles D:

19. Do a pencil-drawing with pencil/charcoal and eraser only, and finish it with proper shading and such.

and 15. Silence in the 100 themes

LOLREALISMWHUT?? No references were used for this. Except I looked at the shape of my ear for his ear. That's why it looks ugleh lol

Done in my skecth book with a pencil and eraser, and my thumb to smudge lol And I couldn't draw his mouth AT ALL so that's why I just slapped that weird thing over it. I suck D:

When my mom forced me to do ballet at the tender age of five they actually taped our mouths shut if we wouldn't shut up. And hit our legs with meter sticks. I probably still have scars, since I was obviously the worst kid in the whole class. Painful memories : D

But dude this is amazing. It seems sort of symbolic to me, of how people sometimes try to supress rebellion or creativity in young people and stuff.. like in my school if you get one too many piercings or dye your hair a shade off natural, you get kicked out :/
I really really really like this. The shading/values and pencil is reeeally good.. [andthat haircut unf :<] whenever I use pencil I make so much of a mess because it gets on the side of my hand and then all over the place that you can't even make the other lines out lol

:0 thanks! Oh lol I'm glad that you see it as something. To be honest with you I really wasn't thinking of anythign like that. i'm like the least artistic person evar D: Do you go to a private school or something? Cause that sucks : (
lolol with this picture I got pencil all over my hand(and a bit on my face -___-). it was terrible. And I usually smudge sketches way more than this so like wtf lol
